universe.

Tamraya cha namah =
Rudra who appears in red colour in the morning as Surya, To him
Salutations; Arunayacha namah = Afterwards a little more red in his
rays; To him salutations.

Shangaya cha namah =
Salutations to Rudra, who sanctions happiness; Pasupataye cha namah
= The ruler and protector of cattle, To him our Salutations.

ugrayacha bhimaya cha |
Nama ugraya cha = Salutations to Rudra whose
anger is directed to kill the enemies; Bhimaya cha namah =
Salutations to the dreadful whose presence makes
the enemies shudder.

Agrevadhaya cha = Salutations to the supreme,
who kills the enemy standing infront of him; Durevadha cha namah =
Also kills the enemy who is far away from
him with ease, To him our Salutations.

Salutations to him who destroys the persons disrespecting him with
egoism and consider himself greater than him; Haniyase namah =
people hating him and insulting him will be annihilated in several
ways, To him we Salute.

= Possessing hairs resembling green coloured tender leaves, To him
Salutations; Namo vrikshebhyo = looking like kalpataru tree with his
hair looks, To such our salutations.

Namah sambhavecha =
Salutations to Rudra the bestower of wordly happiness; Mayobhave cha
= Also the granter of the heavenly eternal pleasures, including
liberation.

Nama shankaraya cha =
grants happiness in this world through the parentage and others;
mayaskaraya cha = through the preceptor and other sastras sanction
happiness of moksha, To him our salutations.

the most celebrated and auspicious one who has noblemish to his
credit, To such Rudra we salute; shivatara cha namah = The highly
acclaimed one standing for purity and who makes his devotees equally
pure, To such ever present Rudra who offer our salutations.

present in punya tirth as places i.e. at prayaga for the benefit of
his devotee; Kulyaya cha namah = And for the one at the river bund
i.e. present in the form of linga, To such Rudra we salute.

Paryaya cha = For the
one awaiting on the otherside of the river, Avaryaya cha namah = And
the person on the opposite side of the river; To him our
salutations.

Prataranaya cha =
Eminently suited to obtain liberation drives away the sins through
mantra Japa a fitting means to get these objectives fulfilled. To
him salutations; Uttaraya cha = paves the way in this world to get
salvation, To him salutations.

Ataryaya cha ladyaya cha |
Ataryaya namah = Even
though equipped with the truthful knowledge to get rid of this
world, yet involved in performing duties pertains to worldly benefit
thus take the life again; Aladyaya cha = To protect such persons and
appears in such forms; To him our salutations.

shaspyaya cha phenyay cha |
Shaspyaya cha namah =
The tender darbha (a kind of grass) originating at the bank Ganga
and other rivers; Phenyaya cha = The foam on the river and for its
sake; Namah = Salutations to him who appears in those forms.

ssikatyaya cha pravahyaya cha |
Sikatya cha = present
in sands beds and such places; pravapya cha = In the moving waters
and in similar waters, To such Rudra our salutations.
Salutation to Rudra
who is present with parvati, the dispellor of all worldly sorrows,
appearing in the morning with his brilliant red cosmic rays as
surya, the sustainer of all living beings, the granter of happiness
and the ruler of all immovable and immovable objects, the supreme
and the all dreadful. Stands fore most in the battlefield to protect
his devotees nd kills their enemies. Long before the on set of war
itself he unnerves the enemies and silence their strength, valour
and undawnted courage. He puts and end to the egoism of persons who
considers higher or equal to him and kills them. He will destroy any

leaves and he looks like a tree. He is the incordination of pranava.
He blesses both earthly an eternal happiness and pleasures. He is
the very form of auspiciousness and the beginning and end of it. To
such Shiva, Lord Rudra we Salute.
Salutations to Rudra
who is present as under current in the sacred Rivers of Ganga and
others, present on the banks of either side of the rivers, the
person responsible to pave the path of path of liberation, further
he who is instrumental to show the eminent and the excellent path of
self knowledge and to dispel the ignorance and to achieve
liberation. He also helps for the path of return. He is present in
the Jeeva as one to enjoy the results of the actions. He is present
in the tender bits of grasses. He exists in the foam floats
generated in waters. He is present in sands and also underneath the
current of waters. To such Sri Rudra we Salute.
Recitation bestows
granting of Rajya (Advancement in life) and destruction of all
enemies.

Erinyaya cha namah =
Present in barren field infertile, deserted (soil not fit for
cultivation); prapathyaya cha namah = present in the path used by
the majority persons. To such Rudra Salutations.
- Namah
kimsilaya cha kshayanaya cha |
Kimshilaya cha namah
= places where small stones are available; Kshayanaya namah =
present in the places useful for living. To such Rudra present in
both places OH! Accept our Salutations.
- Namah
kapardine cha pulastaye cha |
Kapardine namah = person having a hair knot
well twisted the elongated hair locks with due fold; pulastaye cha =
Always present before his devotees, to
such Rudra salutations.
- Namo
gostyaya cha grhyayacha |
Gostyaya cha namah =
The places where cows are kept (Gosala) (Cow shelters) the person
dwells in such place, To him our salutation; Gruhyaya cha = Present
in the house; To him our salutations.

stalpyayacha gehyayacha |
Talpyaya cha namah =
present in the beds, sleeping cots; Gohyaya cha namah = Present in
the storied buildings (upstair) Sky scrappers; To him our
Salutations.

Katyaya cha = present in the most interior,
difficult and extremely dangerous places such as spinous bushes and
thick jungles; To him salutations; Gahvarestaya cha namah =
Salutations to Rudra who is present in deep
mountain caves.

Hradayyaya cha namah
= Present in very deep lakes, Salutations to such Rudra; Nivespyaya
cha namah = Rudra present in the snow waters; To him
Salutations.

Pagam savyaya cha
namah = Rudra present in the minutest atoms; Rajasyaya namah =
present in the apparent dust not visible to the eye; To him
salutations.

shuskyayacha harityaya cha |
Shuskyaya cha =
present in the dried wood; Harityaya cha = present in the green
wood, To him salutations.

lopayaya colapyaya cha |
Lopyaya cha namah =
Rudra presents even in such rocky places where grass also will not
germinate; ulapyaya cha namah = Rudra present in the greasy minute
grasslings; Salutations to him.

urvyaya cha Surmyaya cha |
Urvyapa cha namah =
Rudras present on us; To him salutations; Surmyaya cha = Rudras
present in the nice waves of harmonious and quiet rivers, To him
salutations.

pamyaya cha parnashadyaya cha |
Parnyaya cha namah =
Salutations to Rudra who is present amidst leaves; parna sadyaya cha
namah = salutations to Rudra who is present in the heap of dried
leaves.

paguramanaya cha bhighna te cha |
Apaguramanaya cha =
Rudra who holds the weapons ever ready to punish the sinners;
Salutations to him; Abhighnate cha namah = Salute to Rudra who will
stand opposite to the sinners to chop off their heads with his
weapons.

Akkhidate cha prakkhidate cha |
Akkhidate cha namah =
Salutations to Rudra who will reduce punishments to sinners as per
the degree of sins. Prakikhadate cha namah = some others he will
aggressively punish them, To such Rudra we salute.
- Namo
vah kirikebhyo devanagam hridaye bhyah |
Kirikebhyo vah namah
= destroys silently and quietly some; Devanam hridaye bhyah = dwells
secretly in the heart of Devas with out any body’s knowledge.

vikshina kebhyah |
Vikshi nakebhyah =
Making them suffer in several ways; To him Salutations and those
without annihilation i.e. Devas who are dearer to him Salutations to
them.

Vichinvatkebhyah
namah = They are divided into pious and wicked He is dearer to Devas
and fulfills the desires of his devotees; To him Salutations.

Anirhate bhyah |
Anirhatebhyah namah =
with out any consideration and by passing the limits the sinners wil
be destroyed definitely; Salutations to you.

Amivatkebhyah |
Amivatkebhyah namah =
You will not permit the sinners to run away hither and thither and
encircle them; Salutations to you.
Salutations to
Bhagavan Rudra who is present in deserted places, and the confirmed
and known paths of movements, also in the palces of imperfect
stones, in the places fit for dwelling. Oh! The elangated tudted
hair locked adorner. Salutations to you prostrations to Rudra who is
very nearer and dearer to his devotees, present in the shelters of
cows, in the living houses, in the sleeping cots, in the upstair
Storied buildings, in the extremely dangerous and difficult places,
at the highest mountain peak-caves, in the deepest waters of lakes;
in the snow waters; in the minutest atoms; in the dust, in the dried
and burnt wood, in the wet materials, in the worst rocky uneven
places where grass cannot sprout, in the greasy mushrooms, present
on the earth, in the nice waves of a harmonious currents of rivers;
present amidst leaves and in the middle of a heap of dried
leaves.
Salutations to Rudra
who holds his weapons ever ready to punish the sinners; according to
their degree of sins some in a small way and some others very
aggressively and violently.
Resides secretly in
the hearts of Devas without any body’s knowledge, annihilates them
freely, differentiating them as per their sins. Kill them
definitely, without crossing the norms and taking all care that such
sinners will not flee from any side and handle them effectively and
mercilessly. To such of you Sri Rudra we Salute.
Who
ever recites this Anuvaka. Gets wealth in the form of Gold;
possesses his choicest bride, good employment, witnesses; yaksha,
Rakshasa, Devils, demons, ghosts and capable of controlling them,
gets things done by his impulses, blesses with a son fit to hold a
very prestigious high post, his son becomes a devotee of Lord Shiva
himself becomes a poet, controls the higher authorities.
