Jyestayacha = To him
with Image, Education, dwelling etc occupies a superior position;
Salutations to him; Kanistaya cha namah = other than age, Education
etc. gunas less pronounced, To such person our salutation.
Namah purvajaya

Purvaja ya namah =
salutation to one who is born before the onset of creation;
Aparajaya namah = Born afterwards and during dissolution appears as
Kalagni; To him our salutations.
Namo Madhya maya cha
pagalbhyaya cha |
Madhyamaya cha namah
= Born in the middle; Apagalbhaya cha namah = To the ignorant boy
and whose intelligence has not manifested; To him our
salutations.
Namo jaghanyaya cha
bughni yaya cha |
Namo jaghanyaya cha =
Born from behind; To him salutations; Budhni yaya cha namah =
Present at the interior corner (base), to him we prostrate.
Nama ssobhyaya cha
prati saryaya cha |
Shobhyaya cha namah =
present in the human world; salutations to him; pratisaryaya cha
namah = Exists in the impermanent world or the raksha bandha ie the
thread used in the marriages is known as partisara and he is fit to
have it. To such Lord we prostrate.
Namo yamyaya cha,
Kshemyaya cha |
Yamyaya cha namah =
lives in hell, kshemyaya namah = lives in heaven, To him
Salutations.
Nama ubvaryaya cha
khalyaya cha |
Urvaryaya cha namah =
present in the most fertile soil, Khalyaya cha namah = present in
the field where paddy is grounded and separated from the plants;
salutations to him.
Nama shshlokyaya cha
va Sanyayacha |
Shlokyaya cha namah =
present in Veda mantras; salutations to him; Avasanyaya cha namah =
present in upanishats; salutations to him.
Nama Vanyayacha
kakshyayacha |
Vanyaya cha namah =
present in the forests; salutatiosn to him; Kakshyayacha = present
at the base trees also in the form of creepers; To him we
salute.
Nama shshravayacha
prati shravayacha |
Shravayacha namah =
present in sounds; salutations to him; prati shravaya cha namah =
present in resounds, salutations to him.
Nama Ashusenaya
cashurathayacha |
Ashusenaya cha naahm
= To the fast walking charioteer accompanying the armies; To him
salutations; Ashurathaya cha namah = To the fastest moving
charioteer; our Salutations to him.
Nama shshuraya Chava
bhindate cha |
Shuraya cha namah =
Salutation to the supreme dashing warrior Avabhinandate cha namah =
Salutations to him who will chop off the heads of the enemies.
Namo varmine cha
varuthine cha |
Varmine cha = Having
a fine protective cover; To him salutations; Varuthine cha namah =
occupies the seat at the prime place in chariot to run it.
Salutation to the protector of the defensive seat.
Namo bilminecha
kavicine cha |
Bilmine cha namah =
persons having battle head gear, Salutations to him; Kavacine cha
namah = Salutations to him who is covered with the armoury that is
drawn upto his anklets.
Nama shshrutaya cha
shruta senayacha ||
Shrutaya cha namah =
The omnipresent, To him our Salutations; Shruta Senaya cha namah =
possessor of the most famed armies, Salutations to him.
He leads in wealth
and knowledge. He is small when these are absent. At the time of the
creation of the universe he was born in the form of Hiranya garbha,
born in the middle time hence known as a boy Devatirya, as a vatsa
at the behind cows as Jaghanya, at the base of trees as branches
budhniya, in the form of good and base on the earth as Sobhya, fit
for raksha bandhan (to receive the protective cover thread),
punishes the evil minded people as yama, deserves liberation hence
called as kshemya. He appears in the form of paddy in the cultivable
land, in the grinding ground of the crop he is the very form of
paddy. He is the propouncer of vaidic mantra and also Vedanta. He is
born as tree in the forest. He will be born as creepers in the
bushes, He is the form Sabda (sound) and also resound. Possessor of
armies, owner of a swift moving chariot, a great warrior, person
killing his enemies, possesses protective cover (body shield
kavacha) possessor of a dwelling house, possesses head gear, also a
complete cover for the entire body for protection, very famous in
Vedas, extolled as one who possesses reputed armies in Vedas; To
such Rudra we salute.
The Benefits are the
same as the fifth Anuvaka. The two Anuvakas fifth and sixth are
recited together. To derive full advantage.
7th ANUVAKA (NAMAKAM)
- Namo
dundubhyaya cha hananyayacha |
Dundubhyacha namah =
present internally in bheri and possessing such sounds, To him
Salutations; Ahananyacha = The hand that makes it drum and for such
person; Namah = Verily, our prostrations.
- Namo
dhrusna ve cha pramru shaya cha
Dhrsnave cha =
Standing stead fastly in the war as a warrior and never shows his
back, To such Rudra Salutations; pramrshaya cha namah = person
analyses the pros and cons of the opposite enemy; To him
salutations.
- Namo
duta ya cha prahitaya cha |
Dutaya cha namah =
Taking the message of the king and act as a messenger to represent
the same to other king, or party. To him I bow; prahitaya cha namah
= Acting at the instingation of his King such form of Rudra To him
our Salutations.
- Namo
nisaginine casu dhimate cha |
Nisagine namah = The
person who possessed sword in his hand; To him prostrations;
salutation to him, Esumadhimate cha namah = person having the garnet
of arrows, To such Rudra we salute.
- Nama
sti kshnesa ve cha yudhi ne cha |
Tikshna save namah =
Salutations to him who possesses stubborn, jointed and pointed
powerful arrows; Ayudhine cha namah = Salutations to the owner of
several types of weapons.
- Nama
ssvayudhayacha sudhanvane cha |
Svayudhaya cha namah
= possessor of the most auspicious and excellent weapons, To him I
bow; Sudhanva ne cha = Salutations to him who is endowed with the
renowned armoury.
- Nama
ssrutya yacha pathyayacha |
Srtyaya cha namah =
Present under the nearth in the foot path, Salutations to him;
Pathyaya cha namah = present in the wide routes through chariots
move, To him salutations.

katyaya cha nipyayacha |
Katyaya cha namah =
present in small collections of water in wells, salutations to him;
Nipyaya cha namah = present in the water fall from the mountains,
and in rivers, To him Salutations.

Sudyaya cha = present
in muddy places, To him salutations; Sarasyaya cha = present in lake
also, To him salutations.

nadyaya cha vaishantaya cha |
Nadyayacha namah =
present in the rivers, To him Salutations; Vaishantaya cha namah =
present in small swamps, tanks, puddles, To him salutations.
- Namah
krupyaya cha vatyaya cha |
Kupyaya cha namah =
present in the well, To him Salutations; Avatyaya cha namah =
present in dug out pits and in low lying places, To him
prostrations.

varsaya cha varsyaya cha |
Varsyaya cha namah =
present in Rains waters, To him Salutations; Avarsyaya cha namah =
present in the waters exists in oceans, To him our prostrations.
- Namo
meghyaya cha vidyutyaya cha |
Meghyaya cha namah =
Dwells in the clouds, To him salutations; Vidyutyaya namah = present
in electric thunder light, To him prostrations.
- Nama
Edhriyaya cha tapyaya cha |
Edhriyaya cha namah =
present in the tranquil clouds of the antumn season; Atapyaya namah
= present in the rain during the sunshine, Salutations to me.
- Namo
vatyaya cha resmiyaya cha |
Vatyaya cha namah =
Salutation to him whose is present in the air, Resmiyaya cha namah =
present in the dissolution of the universe, To him Salutations.
- Namo
vastavyaya cha Vastu paya cha |
Vastavyaya cha namah
= present in the cows, in real materials of Gold and its formations,
Salutations to him, Vastupaya cha namah = The divine who rules the
lands earmarked for construction of houses, Salutations to him.
Salutation to the
Lord who is present in the dundumbhi (the divine drum) and
responsible for drumming it to produce notes of sounds.
Salutations to Rudra
who appears in the form of a brave warrior in the battle field, as a
messenger of a king, and promotes his actions as per the directions
of the king, possessor of sword in his hand, the possessor of the
garnet of arrows and pointed perfect ones and having different
several weaponary of great precision and excellent bow.
Salutations to him
who is present under neath in the paths of foot ways, and also in
the wide routes where chariots and other pass through, present in
small collections of water, at the places where waters flow down
wards, in the muddy places, in the lakes, in the rivers, in the
small lakes, in the wells, in the ditches, in the rains and during
dearth of rains.
Salutations to him
who is exists in clouds, during the lightening and in the tranquil
antumn clouds, in the cosmic heat, in the air, during the time of
dissolution of the universe, in the cows and others; in the (divine
guide) who rules the land used for construction of houses. Sri Rudra
has to meditated as one decorated with the tigers skin, with hanging
twifts of hair, dancing, with serene smile and with his protective
hand to his devotees.
The recitation of
these mantras in this Anuvaka ensures that all the four varnas will
be helpful, the intelligence will grow. Health, wealth, progeny,
obtaining New clothes and Cows, Sons, Education, Kingdom or (Higher
employments and Jobs) Liberation from Samsara and longevity are
assured.
All this Anuvaka is
one Mantra. The Rsi is Romasha Chanda is Maha Anustupp Devata is
Rudra.
