The bow resembling Meru mountain is placed at the
lotus feet of parvati, keeping the shafts on him, ascended the
chariot. Such Ardha Narisvaral Lord Shiva has to be meditated.

Devam shucismitam dhyayed vyaghra charma pariskritam ||
Adorned with the Tigers skin dancing with the
twisted long drawn hair tufts, with the tranquil and pure smiles as
one endowed with the grace of granting boons to his devotees such
Bhagavan Rudra has to be meditated.

It is stated that for obtaining Moksha
(liberation) Paramesvara has to be meditated along with UMA
(parvati). Uma Devi is the presiding deity of Brahmavidya.

The literature on Devi UMA establishes her
supremacy of granting parameswara with the capability of granting
the parama purusardha, the all knowing, the all pervading, the
omnipresent, omnipotent cause and effect of all.

Sri Rudra has to be meditated as one whose hands,
feet, eyes, heads, faces have spread and radiating with grandeur
through out the Universe.

Bhusitam
bhujagairdhyayet kantthe kalam kapardinam ||
Holding bow by name pinaka in his hand,
illumining like ten thousand Sun Gods, adorned by snakes, possessing
blew colour at his neck with flowing tufts of hair and Ganga on his
head. Oh! Such Bhutanatha the, God of all creatures in this world,
protect us. Let us meditate on him. May our Salutations reach
him.

Wearing the kanchuka (the gracious garment) upto
knees, holding in his hand sula (the three pronged weapon) and the
music instrument by name “Damaru”, Keeping the symbolic Tilaka (sign
on the fore head) round earlets on his ears, and the feet having the
beautiful ringing anklets, with the snakes as valued ornaments, the
light brought forth from his white well set teeth, looking very
fresh and natural having the gear of a Bhairava, the Lord Rudra has
to be meditated as the husband of Mrudani.

vahanaruddham skandarupam shivam smaret |
Possessing the body shining with melted colour of
Gold, holding the powerful armour in his hand, riding the chariot of
peacock with six faces as skanda the Rudra has to be meditated.

Prasanna vadanam
dhyaye stomam somardha shekharam ||
Sri Rudra decorated with Chandra kala on his head
as jewel. The Maharishis are praising him. He keeps smiling and with
sojourn peace He sat on the Divine thrown with parvati Oh! Such
shiva is fit to be worshipped.

Ganesvara samavrutam ||
Sri Rudra has to be meditated upon as one having
Bala Chandra decorated in his crown, and the body shinning with
golden hue, accompanied with Ganesvara resembling Nandisvara.

Tejomayam
shulinamindu moulim vicinta ye datra sadaiva Rudram ||
Sri Rudras emitting light like perfect white
coral differenting the body as Eleven Rudra murtis, holding Trisula
and Chandra on his head has to be worshipped.

sannidhow devya deva mananda tandavam |
Huta shanayanam
dhyayetta pta kanchana sannibham ||
The body looks like the melted gold, shinning
excellently emitting its light. Having the third Agni Netra on his
forehead with Devi parvati conducting Ananda Tandava the Divine
dance verily such Lord Shiva has to be worshipped.

Koti prakasha makasha gam bhimam |
Bhitighna mabhaya varadam
dhyaye drudram suroughanutam ||
Possessing the brilliance of illumination
equivalent to one crore rising morning suns, creating fear among the
dreaded persons, and ensuring complete protection to his devotees
holding varada (the sign of granting boons) and Abhaya (sign of
ensuring protection) while groups of Devas are praising him the over
Lord seated in Akasa has to be meditated.

Sarva papa haram
dhyaye ddevam kunjara bhedinam ||
Looking shinning with glittering colours with the
armour wear killing Gajasura and wearing the skin of Gajasura with
the aim of condoling all the sins Rudra the Lord has to be
meditated.

Devam yuvanamati sundaram
Dhyayedvana charakara ma gacchanantam
pinakinam ||
The basis for all auspicious acts, having the
most beautiful youthful the tribal wear, holding pinaka in his hand
has to be prayed upon.

vadanam shantam chariot dvaha mandanam
Ambaya sahitam
dyayetpurasa jaghai rabhistatam ||
When groups of Devas are praising him he ties the
auspicious, marriage knot to parvati and very much pleased and bears
a happy face such, Rudra Deva has to be meditated.

papa haram devam sarva bharana bhushitam |
Sarvayudha dharma
Devam sarva loka mahesvaram ||
Sri Rudra annihilates all sins. He is the replica
of all ornaments. He is the possessor of all weaponary. He is self
effulgent. He is the master crafts man (The Lord of all the worlds).
He is to be meditated.

Trinetram trishikham
diptam dhyayed bhujaga bhusanam ||
Having terrific long drawn teeth with dreadful
face with red hair and three eyes and possessing three tufts, big
cobras as ornaments, appearing with frightful personality such Sri
Rudra has to be meditated for ever.

Riding the Bull, commander of devas, the basis
for the origin and cause of the worlds, praised by Brahma and all
other devas, always present with parvati, To such Lord Shiva we
offer our salutations.
