Om Agna Vishnu = OM (Pranava) Addressing Agni and Vishnu; yuvamsajosasou = Let both of you bestow good to me, Imam vardhantuvamgirah = My praise of you will dignify you, dhyumnau; rvajobhihagatam = Both of you arrive here to grant wealth and food; vajascha me = food; prasavascha me = permission to consume the food; prasatischa me = Auspiciousness of food; prasitischa me = Acute Apetite and taste for it; Dhitischa me = in assimilating it; Rta scha me = All the Sacrifices that grants me food; Svarascha me = Chanting veda mantras with proper intonation; Slokas cha me = Incantation of the Vedic Hymns; Sravascha me = with the Captivating and impelling sounds and agreeable voice; Shruta scha me = capacity to discretionary hearing; jyotischa me = for mental awakening and perfection; Suvascha me = To attain divine abode of Gods; Pranascha me, Apanascha me, Vyanascha me = for regular function of prana; Apana and Vyana in the body; Asuscha ame = For vital function of these airs; Chittam cha me = Mental Knowledge born out of mind; Vakcame = The power of speech; Manascha me = A clarified and sound mind; Chakshu scha me = Keen eye sight, perception srotram came = and a keen hearing; Daksha scha me = Fine functioning of all sense organs; Balam cha me = The strength of the discharging activity of body organs; oja scha me = Virility (the highest intelligence) Sahascha me = The will to put down my foes; Ayuscha me = A prolonged and active life; Jaracha me = A venerable and respected old age; Atma cha me = A seasoned and necessary egoism; Tanuscha me = A perfected and well cantoured body; Sharma cha me = And happiness; Varma cha me = And safe guarding the body; Angani cha me = And excellent limbs of body; Asthani cha me = With perfected and nicely set bones; Parungisi cha me = And well set joints; Sharirani cha me = And rebirth in excellent and noble bodies (Me = For me).

Let God grant me food, permit me to eat the food, ensure purity of food and keen desire to relish, digest and caust it to obtain. Let me recite, chant Vedic mantras wth Specific intonation with pleasing and absorbing voice with proper hearing, mental alacrity and bless me to reach the abode of Gods. Cause the proper functioning of the three airs prana, Apana and Vyana and the mukhya prana circulation and the secondary airs of udana and samana mental knowledge, powerful speech and a perfect and harmonious mind, Keen vision and hearing, healthy and active functioning of sense organs, highest intelligence (ojas) and the strength and virility and vigour to crush the enemies, assured longevity and honourable old age; and a sustainable egotisml and a sound and well built body with full happiness ensuring protection to all the limbs and well built body with full happiness ensuring protection to all the limbs and well arranged bones and joints. Ensure birth in esteemed and noble bodies for ever and in future.

These thirty six items are prayed in this Anuvaka for the body which is the cornerstone for upholding Dharma.

Jaishtyam cha me  = Elderliness as senior and eminence among people; Adhipatyam cha me = As over lord; Manyu scha me = with controlled resentments and hidden anger; Bhama scha me  = And the sustainable manifestation of external anger; Amascha me = with indepth mind and sterling character; Abhascha me = And sweet whole some drinking waters; Jema cha me = upper hand and success over my foes; Mahima cha me = Resultant fame and riches due to my victories; Varima cha me = Having longed for it ad valued by others;  prathama cha me = Increase in abounding wealth and accomplishments; Varsma cha me = and the progeny; Draghuyacha me = The unbreakable continuity of sumptuous grandeur, Vrudham cha me  = And abundant wordly materials; Vrudhischa me = The following excellence accrued due to knowledge and personal character, Satyam Cha me = In practicing truth; Shraddha cha me = And implicit belief in Vedas, Sastras and in futurity; Jagaccha me = And in wealth both movable and immovable; Dhanam cha me = Riches in terms of Gold and Silver and other precious valuables; Vashascha me = And in attracting others by personal glamour; Tvisischa me = By the charming body; Kridacha me = And sports, athletics and games to drive away monotony; Modascha me = And the recreations, pleasure and enjoyment felt due to them; Jatam cha me = and derived from our ancestry and descendency from fore fathers; Janisya manam cha me = And the present acquisitions; Suktam cha me = And in the proficiency in Vedic mantras; Sukrutam cha me = And the resultant benefits due to performance of sacred rituals and pious actions; Vittam cha me = And the riches accrued already; Vedyam cha me = And also the riches and wealth in future; Bhutam cha me = and a sumptuous and happy past; Bhavisyaccha me = And a plentiful and happy future; Sugam cha me = Cosy and comfortable hospital resting places; Supatham cha me = Well arranged paths for free movement to and fro; Rudham cha me = And more and more of material wealth in this world; Ruddhischa me = And multiple of spiritual benefits in my next life; Kluptam cha me = To make the life journey pleasant and purposeful with the bulk of materials things in this life; kluptischa me = To make use of them by me in a most judicious and befitting manner; Matischa me = And the possession of clear understanding of men and matters in this World; Sumatischa me = The dextinity to effectively manage the most difficult situations successfully.

I implove for granting of these to me. Recognition as the most cherished senior and eminent person overriding among men; combat resentment and control internal anger, and the out ward manifestation of anger; and the indepth mind and general character, and obtaining sweet waters; commanding and victory over enemies. The wealth and fame derived by me, from these successes, longed and valued by others; Increase of my worldly possessions, and my offsprings and perennial progeny to posterity and superiority born out of knowledge and personality, conscious of truth always, discipline and staunch belief in Vedas and scriptures in the days ahead and enhancement in both movable and immovable assets and treasure in Gold and Silver and in the special attractiveness and personal charm, Feeling pride of body; and in the diversion towards sports and other games and the pleasures accrued by such avocations and all that I inherited through heritage and for future acquisitions and proficiency in vedic mantras and the auspiciousness derived due to the conduct of such sacred rites and rituals. The wealth of past and future prosperity with great advanced strides with excellent and harmonious resorts for my stay and recreation as diversion, secured and well guarded path ways for my movements of coming and going, assured increased spiritual benefits and merits during and after life and all befitting sumptuous requirements to make my life journey most pleasing and comfortable and the will and ability to put them for efficient use, a perfect and balanced intellect and wisdom and the desterity to tackle difficult situation gloriously with tremendrous success.

Sham cha me = Wordly happiness; Maya scha me = Heavenly happiness; Priyam cha me = All the pleasing objects, Anukama scha me = Tempting objects; Kama scha me = longing for the things in the other world; Souganasa scha me = The pleasure of possessing very endearing relations; Bhadran cha me = progress, welfare and prospects in this world; Vasya scha me = Comfortable dwelling places; yashascha me = Reputation; Bhagascha me = Fortune and good luck; Dravinam cha me = And riches; Yanta cha me = Proper guidance and control from elders and teachers; kshema scha me = Capacity to protect my assets and all my property and earnings; Dharta cha me = Stead fastness in the most crucial circumstances; Visvam cha me = The good accrued in the material plane i.e. in this world; Mahascha me = Respect and glory; Samvicca me = Spiritual knowledge in abundance of Vedas and sastras; jnatram cha me = The capacity to imbibe this knowledge effectively; Suscha me = The ability to promote sons and others; prasu scha me = The capacity to encourage the serving persons; Siram cha me = To obtain the wealth of ploughs, bulls and all agricultural and field instruments; Laya scha me = In averting any hurdles and destroying such untoword resistence; Rtam cha me = In the duties of yajnas (sacrificial performances); Amritam cha me = In the fruits of such sacrifices; Ayakshmam cha me = In preventing such diseases of Rayayakshma; Anamayam = Devoid small ailments like fevers etc; Jivatume = To possess medicines necessary for the existence of living; Dirghayutvam cha me = To get prolonged longevity and to get rid of untimely death; Mitram cha me = without enemies; Bhayam cha me = Without fear; Sugaam cha me = Good behaviour acceptable to all; Shayanan cha me = The possession of comfortable pillows on the beds; susa cha me = Nice early pleasing morning fit for conducting daily bath, (sandhya) porayer and other rituals.

Let Lord Shiva grant us happiness in both worlds on (earth and heaven). All the materials dearer and attractive and worthy of possession in heaven and endearing relations. Material and spiritual welfare; prosperity, cosy and comfort; name, fame and fortune and enormous riches, proper guidance from elders and well wishers, palatial mansions, and due support from all including parents. The capacity to protect all belongings earned and bequeathed, undawnted courage, chivalry, valour, stand fastness possessing the community pleasure and honour and be an embodiment of vedic knowledge and the profundicity to impart the same to all others, command obedience and service from the progeny, capacity to develop expertise in cultivation of agricultural works.

Ardent desire to conduct spiritual rituals and there by gain the fruits of the holy acts. Be free from bodily ailments, ensuring longevity, circumventing untimely death, devoid of enemies and antogonism, assured of bountiful sleep and a very successful and glamorous day and dawn.

These thirty six aspirations are prayed to be fulfilled in this third Anuvaka.
