          I salute repeatedly to parabrahma who is Veda Swaroopa the very realm of truth literally, having black reddish hue in colour, the unconquerable, possessing excellent eyes and the all embracing universal from.

   Sri Gayatri Mantra Devata Vacakam
   Yopam puspam
   Taittireeya yaranyake Atha dva vimsonuvakah.

This is Sri Gayatri Mantra devata yopam puspam included in Taittireeya Aranyaka twenty eight Anuvaka.

1. Yopam Puspam Veda /
    Puspavan Prajavan Pasuvan bhavati /

    Candra mava Apam puspam /

    Puspavan, Prajavan, Pasuvan bhavati.

          Yah = who; Apam = belonging to waters; Puspam = Flowers, Veda = Having known; Sah = he, possess flowers; Prajavan = begets progeny; Bhavati = Indeed be; Candramava = Candra, Apam = belonging to waters; Puspam = Taking the form of flower; Abhavat = formed; yah = who; Evam = In this way having known; sah = He, puspavan = possessing flowers; Prajavan = Progeny; pasuvan = possessing cattle; Bhavati = In deed be.

          Who ever knows God (the paramatma) as the Flower floating on the water, he will be deemed as one fulfilled his desires, being blessed with sons and grand children, getting all his cherished wants satisfied and he gets lot of Cow wealth. He who knows that Bhagavan is like moon in the waters, gets fulfilment, progeny, Cow wealth.

2. Ya Evam Veda /
    Yopamayatanam Veda / Ayatavan

    Bhavati / Agnirva apamayatanam,

    Ayatanavan bhavati / Yognerayatanam Veda || ||

    Ayatanavan bhavati / apova

    Agnerayatanam / Ayatanavam bhavati / ya Evam Veda

          Yah = Whoever, Apam = About the waters; Ayatanam = the origin of place; Veda = Having Known; Sah = He; Ayatavan = Having  a place; Bhavati = Indeed be; Agnirva = for Agni hotra; For Apam = Waters; Ayatanam = house (place); Iti = In this way; Yah = Who; Veda = Having known; Sah = He; Ayatavan = Having place; Bhavati = Indeed he; Yah = who; Agnoh = Belonging to Agni; Ayatanam = place; Veda = Having known; Sah = He; Ayatavan = Having a place; Bhavati = In deed he; Apova = Waters, agneh = For fire; Ayatanam = Place; Evam = In this way; Yah = Who; Veda = Having known; Sah = He; Ayatavan = Possessing a place; Bhavati = In deed be.

          He whoever enquires about the origin of waters will get a place from where there will be no return. After due enquiring “Agnerapah” as per the sruti who ever knows the cause of water as Agni he will get into the place of no return. Again on further rethinking about the origin of Agni in Avantara Srusti (recreation at the end of pralaya) “Apova Ida magre salilama seet” as per this Sruti before creation the waters are responsible for the universe and the person who knows that waters are the cause for the fire pervading the world will attain a place of no return. Here by stating waters are originated from fire has become Avantara Srusti and telling that for fire, waters are the basis is to be known as Avantara Srusti only.

3. Yo pama Yatnam Veda / Ayatanavan bhavati /
    Vayurva apamayatanam / Ayatanavan
    bhavati / yo va yorayatanam veda / Ayata

    navan bhavati / Apovai vayo rayatanam /
    Ayatanavan bhavati / Yo Evam veda

Yah = Who; Apam = Belonging to waters; Ayatanam = State; Veda = Having known; Sah = He; Ayatavan = possessing the place; Bhavati = indeed be; Vayurva = On air; Apam = for waters, ayatanam = Having as the place; Sah = He; Ayatavan = Possessing the state; Bhavati = In deed he; Yah = who; Vayor = Belonging to air; ayatanam = the place; veda = Having known; Sah = He; Aporvai = Waters; Vahyoh = air; ayatanam = as the place to reside; Yah = who ever; Veda = Having known; Sah = He; ayatavan = Possessing the place (State); Bhavati = Indeed be.

“Vayorgnih” As per this illustration of Sruti it is stated that Agni is born our of Vayu and from Agni water is born. In Maha Srusti for water through Agni air is the cause and in Avantara Srusti water is mainly the cause for all. Who ever knows this he is deemed to be absolved of rebirth and attains the Divine hood.

4. Yo pamayatnam Veda / Ayatanavan bhavati /
    Asouvaitapanna pamayatanam / Ayatavan
    Bhavati / Yomusyatapata Ayatanan Veda /

    Ayatanavan bhavati / Asova Amusyata

    pata Ayatanam / Ayatanavan bhavati /

    Ya Evam veda ||

Yah = Who ever; Apam = Belonging to waters; Ayatanam = place; Veda = having known; Sah = he; Ayatavan = getting the same place; Bhavati = In deed be; Asou = these; Tapan = The brilliant; Surya = The Sun; Apam = For waters; Ayatanam vai = Is not its place, who ever knows in this way; ayatavan = having the place; Bhavati = In deed be; Yah = who; Amasya = This; Tapatah = the lightening sun; Ayatanam = the place; Veda = getting to know; Sah = He; Ayatavan = Having the place; Bhavati = In deed be; Apa = Waters; Amusya = These; Tapatah = The brilliant Sun; Ayatanam = This place; yah = who ever; Veda = Having known; Ayatavan = that status; Bhavati = In deed be.

As per the dictum “Aditya jjayate Vrustih” the rains said to form due to Sun only. Hence the Sun is the source of waters. Who ever knows in this way he will obtain the state where he will be absolved of rebirth.

5. Yo pamayatanam Veda / Ayatanavan bhavati /
    Candramava Apamayatanam / Ayatanavan 

    bhavati / Apovaicandra masa Ayatanam /

    Ayatanavan bhavati / ya Evam Veda
 

Yah = Who; Apam = Belonging to waters; Ayatanam = Origin; Veda = Having known; Sah = He; Ayatavan = Having possessed the place; Bhavati = In deed he, Candramah = Candra; Apam = For waters; Ayatanamiti = Who ever knows its origing of place; ayatavan = possessing the same place; Bhavati = In deed he; Yah = who; Candramasa = belonging to Candra; Ayatanam = Place; Veda = having known; Sah = he; Ayatavan = getting the place; Bhavati = In deep he; Apah = Waters; Candramah = for Moon; Ayatanam = the place; Yah = who; Veda = knows; Sah = he; Ayatavan = Possessing the status; Bhavati = Having it.

He who ever knows that the cool rays responsible for the snow fall is related to the Moon, and Moon is the cause of waters will get into the state from where there will be no rebirth.

6. Yo pamayatnam Veda / Ayatanavan bhavati /
    Nakshatrani va Apamayatnam / Ayatavan bhavati 

    Yo nakshtrana mayatanam Veda /

    Ayatavan bhavati / Apovai Nakshtranama

    Yatanam / Ayatavan bhavati / Ya Evam Veda

Yah = who; Apam = Belonging to waters; Ayatanam = The place (origin), Veda = having known; Sah = He; Ayatavan = gotting the place; Bhavati = in deed he; Nakshatrani Vai = Stars; Apam = for waters; Ayatanam = He knows it as its place; Ayatavan = possessing the place; Bhavati = In deed the; Yah = who; Nakshatranam = Belonging to stars; Ayatnam = origin; Veda = Having known; Sah = He; Ayatavan = Having the place; Bhavati = In deed he; Apovai = Waters; Nakshatranam = For stars; Ayatanam = the origin; Yah = Who; Veda = Having known; Sah = He; Ayatanavam = possessing the place; Bhavati = In deed he;Rains start from the month of Mrugasira having Certain stars in this period and some more stars included in the rains for the period from pushya to visakha as declared earlier. Stars are the origin for waters. Who ever knows this he will be absolved from rebirth.
