MANTRAPUSHPAM

1. OM Dhata Puratsadya Mudajahara

OM Dhata = The param purusa (known as OM); puratsadya = At the beginning; Mudajahara = Created.

At the out set the virat purusa was extolled by Brahma.

  Sakvrah Pravidvan pradisasca sah

Sakrah pravidvan = All living beings; pradisasca Sah = protecting from all sides.The one who protects every one spread an all sides known by Indra as Bhagavan (paramatma)

  Tamevam Vidyanna Mruta Iha bhavati |

Tamevam = He alone; Vidyannamrutam = By praying divine nectar;
Iha bhavati = gets due to it.

The person, having the knowledge of the Lord in his form assumes immortal from in this world.

  Nanyah Pantha Ayanaya Vidyate |

Nanyah = Without this; Pantha = Way; Ayanaya = for getting Moksa (liberation); Vidyate = Not known.

Knowing that there is no path other than this

  Yajnena yagna maya Jantu Devah

Yajnena = Through yajnas; yajna maya = invite yajnas;
Jantu Devah = Worship devas

          Through Yajnas invite Devas and Worship them.

2. OM Sahasra Seersam Devam Visvaksham Visvasam bhuvam |

Sahasra Sreesam=with thousand heads; Devam=For the lord; Visvaksham=possessing the universe as his eye; Visva Sambhum = The bestower of peace in the celestial world.

The one having thousands of heads, the paramatma, possessing the universe as his eyes, grants happiness to the world.

    Visvam Narayanam Devam Aksharam Paramam padam

Visvam = One who descended as Cosmos; Narayanam = One who expresses himself through water; Devam = The supreme; Aksharam = The indestructible; Paramam padam = The most cherished place.

He is Visva, Narayana, God, Immortal, The Eminent and the basis of every thing.

  Visvatah Paraman Nityam Visvam Narayana gum Harim

Visvatah = of the world; Paraman = behind; Nityam = Always; Visvam Narayanagum = Appears as Narayana in the universe; Harim = As conmsumer

He is par excellent in the world; the ever present Visnu, Narayana in the universe.

  Visvame Vedam Purusah tadvisva mupajeepati

Visvam Eva = Definitely the universe; Tat = That (He); Visvam = Universe; upajivati = simultaneously presents.

The purusothama with his knowledge of the world is allowing us to live

  Patim Visvasyatme Svaragum Sasvatagum Siva mucyate |

Patim = The protector; Viswasya = to the world; Atmeswaram = The ruler of the souls; Sivam = Auspicious; Acyutam = Deathless

He is the Lord of the world; the governing authority of Atma, the permanent, the auspicious and never befallen.

  Narayana Mahajneyam, Visvatmanam parayanam |

Narayana=Having Nara as a prop; mahajneyam = which is fit to be known; Visvatmanam=The cause of the universe, the soul of Cosmos; parayanam=The ultimate supreme

He is Narayana, the one fit to be known, Atma of the world, the inquisitive one.

  Narayana Parojyotih Atmanarayanah Parah |

Narayana = Narayana; param = The most exalted; param jyoti = The supreme light; Atma Naryaana = The behind the self; parah = The supreme

Narayana alone is the brilliant light, Narayana is the glorious Atma.

  Narayana parah Brahma tattvam Narayanah Parah |

Narayana = Narayana; parah = Supreme; Brahma = of Brahma; tattvani = The truth; Narayanah parah = Narayana alone

Naryaana alone is real and excellent illumination. Narayana is only the least tattva.

  Narayana parodhyata dhyanam Narayanah parah |

Narayana = Narayana; parodhyata = The only meditator of Super consciousness; Dhyanam = Meditation; Narayanah parah = The source of meditation.

Narayana is living worshipped as the greatest duty. Narayana is the best meditator.

3.Yaccakimcit Jagarsarvam, drusyate srooya tepiva |

Yatkumcit = Whatsoever, Jagat Sarvam = Every thing in this world; Drusyate=to be seen; srooya =being heard; tepi Va = also

The one that is being visible from the minutest thing to the mightiest  in the entire world and being heart.

  Antarvahisca tatsarvam, Vyapya Narayana Sthitah |

Antarbahisca = Inside, outside; Tat = That; Sarvam = Every thing, Vyapya = Spreads; Narayana = Narayana, Narayana Sthitah = Existed

          Both inside and outside and everywhere Narayana is pervading.    

  Ananta mavyayam Kavigum, Samudrentam Visvasambhuvam|

Anantam = Limitless; Avyayam = No beginning and end; Kavim = The poet; Samudrentam = Amdist the sea; Visva Sambhuvam = The origin of happiness in the world

He will not present at the end or he will disappear or reduces himself, the all knowing, the end of the ocean, the one who does good to the universe.
